North Country Cycle Works is a bicycle service and custom wheel building shop serving the Lewis/Jefferson County New York area. Our proprietor Jesse is a former networking engineer and retired Air Force senior NCO with degrees in applied science and technology. He is also a United Bicycle Institute certified mechanic and UBI/DT Swiss certified wheel builder. Jesse ran a successful bicycle service shop in Centralia, Washington for over five years, Centralia Cycle Works, earning a five star rating from Google. When we decided to move across the country to be near family, he packed up his shop and relocated it to Carthage, New York to become North Country Cycle Works.
We are dedicated to offering professional bicycle service as well as the finest hand built wheels. We also offer back country skis for sale, tested and chosen specifically for our Nordic ski conditions here in northern New York.
